TECNO SPARK 50 5G Smartphone Features a Massive 6500 mAh Battery with MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Processing and Durable Build Quality

TECNO introduced the SPARK 50 5G smartphone which features a high capacity battery and improved internal components. The SPARK 50 5G launch marks TECNO's entry into the affordable smartphone market. The updated device specifications now include a high capacity battery and MediaTek's latest processing unit to maintain competitiveness against other budget smartphones.

The smartphone contains its largest battery with a capacity of 6500 mAh. The new model offers 5200 mAh which shows a significant improvement over the previous version which had 5200 mAh capacity. The device supports 45W fast charging technology to accommodate its large battery. The setup allows users to obtain longer periods of use because their mobile devices have charged less frequently throughout the day.

The smartphone uses MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor as its central processing unit. The chipset operates with a 6 nanometer production process which utilizes Mali G57 MC2 graphics for both everyday activities and gaming experiences. Memory options provide two choices between 4GB or 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM together with 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage space. Users can expand their storage space through microSD card usage when they need to store additional media and applications.

The device front displays a 6.78 inch LCD panel which delivers HD plus resolution. The display supports a 120Hz refresh rate which allows for fluid scrolling and smooth interface transitions. The display reaches its maximum brightness level of 560 nits. The main camera system uses one 50MP sensor with an f 1.85 aperture for taking photographs while an 8MP camera sits on top of the display to handle video calls and portrait photography.

The device achieves its durability through IP64 dust resistance and splash protection together with MIL STD 810H certification. Security functions rely on a fingerprint scanner which operators can find on the side of the smartphone frame. The user interface runs on Android 16 while HiOS 16 functions as the main interface. The device contains dual SIM functionality and Wi Fi capability through 4x4 MIMO technology plus Bluetooth 5.3 and a standard headphone port for wired audio connections.

The base version with 4GB of RAM costs approximately $179 in the Indian market. The upgraded variant with 6GB of RAM is priced at roughly $200. TECNO has not yet confirmed the specific dates for availability in other global regions but more details are expected to emerge as the rollout continues throughout the year.
