Acemagic Refreshes F5A Mini PC Lineup With Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 Silicon Offering Advanced AI Performance And High Speed Connectivity Options
Acemagic has started preorders for the new F5A mini PC. The new model updates from the previous Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 to the more advanced Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 processor. The new version keeps its original design but shows better performance with a 100 MHz boost and a 200 MHz increase in graphics performance. The system is designed to deliver maximum performance for professionals and enthusiasts who need a compact system which measures 130 by 132 by 62 millimeters.
The processing core uses hybrid Zen 5 and Zen 5c architecture to deliver 12 processing cores which support 24 simultaneous processing threads. The integrated Radeon 890M system handles graphics using 16 compute units which are built on RDNA 3.5 architecture. The manufacturer testing shows that the hardware can play modern games like Cyberpunk 2077 at 1080p resolution with medium graphical settings. The OCuLink port supports external GPU connections.
Artificial intelligence serves as the primary technical focus for the F5A platform. The XDNA2 neural processing unit delivers 55 TOPS performance which adds to the platform's total capacity of 86 TOPS. The system enables local AI processing to occur without needing cloud based services. The system has 32 GB of LPDDR5X 8000 memory which manufacturers designed to solder directly onto the board for maximum data transfer speed. The compact machine excels in storage solutions because it supports three separate M.2 slots which can accommodate PCIe 4.0 SSDs to create an internal storage space which reaches 12 TB.
The Acemagic F5A offers its users a wide range of connectivity options which exceed expectations for such a compact device. It has two USB4 ports which support data transfer rates of 40 Gbps while providing 100 W power delivery capabilities. The system uses HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.1 connections to output video signals to four 8K monitors which can display content at 60Hz. The networking capability of the system includes Wi Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 support plus two 2.5 GbE Ethernet ports for high speed connections. Acemagic employs a dual fan cooling system which works with their vapor chamber heat spreader that maintains performance for 65 W of continuous power.
