Honor 600 Series Global Entry Targets Flagship Market with Snapdragon 8 Elite Power AI Integration and 200MP Professional Camera Systems
Honor has confirmed that it will start selling its mid range and flagship products outside China after previously restricting them to the Chinese market. The Honor 600 and 600 Pro which launched in Kuala Lumpur represent an aggressive 2026 mobile market entry that includes a Pro version which competes against Samsung and Xiaomi and Vivo's premium devices. The two devices make their mark through a design system which combines matte metal materials with a design style that highlights its large optical sensor component.
The visual centerpiece for both devices is a 6.75 inch flat AMOLED display which delivers a resolution of 2728 by 1264 pixels. Honor designed the display to achieve maximum longevity through 120Hz refresh rates which enable displays to reach their maximum HDR brightness of 8000 nits. The manufacturer includes blue light dimming features through hardware plus 3840Hz PWM dimming technology to eliminate eye strain problems which serve as the main software focus for its 2026 brand update.
The performance architectures of the two models show major architectural differences. The standard Honor 600 uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor while the Pro model uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor which makes it eligible for flagship status. The Pro model supports 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage while the base model limits its capacity to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. Both devices use MagicOS 10 which operates on the Android 16 system while the software support lasts until 2032.
Camera capabilities reflect the divide in market positioning. The Honor 600 Pro enables 200MP primary sensor usage with CIPA 6.0 stabilization yet it allows for 3.5x optical zoom through its dedicated 50MP periscope telephoto lens. The basic Honor 600 uses a dual sensor system which replaces the periscope sensor with a 12MP ultrawide lens that also functions as a macro lens. Honor has equipped both devices with its AI Image to Video 2.0 engine which functions as a multi modal generation tool that users can access through the new customizable hardware button found on the chassis.
The battery capacity creates a key distinction that affects international customers. Devices slated for Asian markets use 7000mAh silicon carbon batteries while European devices only support 6400mAh capacity. All devices support 80W wired charging speeds which carry over to all products in the series. The Pro model exclusively gains 50W wireless charging functionality. All models feature SGS certified drop protection combined with full environmental protection which enables them to achieve IP68 and IP69 and IP69K ratings for ingress defense.
Market availability commences on April 30, 2026, with the base Honor 600 starting at RM 2,599. The premium Honor 600 Pro begins at RM 3,099 for the entry level configuration. Early pre order incentives in the Malaysian market include extensive warranty bundles covering liquid damage and display replacements as Honor attempts to capture market share from established global incumbents during the spring window.
