Huawei Pura X Max Foldable Smartphone Design Specifications Performance Camera System and Price Details
The latest Huawei hardware product introduces a foldable smartphone design which competes against the existing narrow vertical design that has controlled the market since its inception. Huawei introduced the Pura X Max together with the Pura 90 series because the new device focuses on displaying content through its wide horizontal design. The device uses a 2:1 aspect ratio for all its external and internal screens which enables users to experience tablet like functionality that changes their experience with portable displays.
The external LCD screen has a 5.4 inch size while the internal display area reaches a size of 7.7 inches. The Huawei design team used LTPO OLED technology which enables dynamic display refresh rates from 1 hertz to 120 hertz to create both internal and external display panels. The design team used a teardrop hinge which contains a basalt framework to enhance the chassis strength through their engineering work. The mechanical advancement improves two operational functions which enable a larger display area and create better protection against physical damage for the device. The display system uses a multi layer security mechanism which combines UTG glass with a frame that achieves an IP59 protection rating against environmental threats.
The Kirin 9030 Pro silicon chip provides processing capabilities for the Pura X Max device. The new version demonstrates a major enhancement which Huawei states improves processing power by 25 percent and graphical capabilities by 40 percent when compared to the previous 9020 series. The neural processing unit exhibits the highest advancement with a 70 percent increase which enables it to manage advanced AI functionalities incorporated into the optical processing software. The XMAGE camera system includes a main 50 megapixel sensor which operates with a dynamic aperture range of 1.4 to 4.0 and combines with a 50 megapixel telephoto lens and a 12.5 megapixel ultra wide module.
The system needs a 5300 milliamp hour battery which enables 66 watt wired power delivery and 50 watt wireless charging capabilities. Huawei has implemented next generation connectivity standards which enable Wi Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0 connections to function. The tablet functions better when users use the M Pen 3 Mini stylus which adds value with its gesture control capabilities and built in microphone system.
The Pura X Max becomes available at a price of 10999 yuan for its 12 gigabyte RAM and 256 gigabyte storage version which equals about 1613 dollars. The premium tier model with 16 gigabytes of RAM and 1 terabyte of internal storage costs 13999 yuan which equals about 2053 dollars. The wide format foldable device has pricing which positions it as an ultra premium product for the 2026 fiscal year.
