Minisforum M1 Lite Elite Workstation Launch Features Intel Core Ultra 5 125U Processor Plus Triple Display Connectivity and Expandable Storage Options

Minisforum has launched its M1 Lite Elite workstation which supports multiple display screens. The company expands its small form factor (SFF) market presence through its new product Elite M1 Lite which serves as its current SFF solution. The hardware serves as a dedicated multitasking workstation by providing compact dimensions which match the I/O capabilities found in standard desktop computers. The manufacturer confirms that the unit is now available for regional distribution, with a clear focus on users requiring simultaneous multi display output.

The workstation uses an Intel Core Ultra 5 125U processor as its main processing unit. The company designed its internal space to support major upgrades through dual SO DIMM slots which enable users to install up to 96 GB of DDR5 5600 RAM. The chassis enables users to set up their storage system through its two M.2 PCIe Gen 4 slots which provide multiple storage options. The design of this system allows users to enhance their hardware, which stands in contrast to the existing SFF designs that dominate the market in 2026.

The M1 Lite workstation handles triple display setups through its three display output options which include HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 and a USB 4 interface. The latter stands out for its high bandwidth capabilities, offering data transfers up to 40 Gbps and 100 W power delivery, while simultaneously supporting 8K resolution at 60 Hz or 4K at 144 Hz. The device supports additional connections through its combination of old fashioned ports and new style ports which include two USB 3.2 Type A slots and two USB 2.0 ports and 2.5 Gbps Ethernet.

Minisforum asserts that their products can handle the intense hardware setup because their thermal acoustic performance remains under control. The active cooling system maintains its peak sound level at 45 dB when the system operates at full capacity, which represents an exceptional achievement for a device that has dimensions of 130 x 126 x 50.4 mm and a weight of 600 grams. The company's price list shows that the basic version of the product costs about $321, while the pre built 16/512 GB version has a price of $644.
