Rebel Wolves Confirms The Blood of Dawnwalker September 3 2026 Release Date Featuring Witcher 3 Creative Lead High PC System Requirements And Intense Vampire Combat Gameplay
The dark fantasy landscape is preparing for a significant shift as Rebel Wolves officially announces that The Blood of Dawnwalker will arrive on September 3 2026. The Warsaw based studio presents its first project which holds major importance because it features Konrad Tomaszkiewicz who created The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt as its main creative force. The studio recently opened its doors to journalists from Gamereactor to provide a deep look at the alternative 14th century setting where players take on the role of Coen a young man transformed into a powerful Dawnwalker amidst a vampire uprising.
During a recent Q&A session at the studio offices Tomaszkiewicz addressed the common inquiry regarding the total length of the experience. The studio created a product which offers various experiences that players can enjoy instead of creating multiple hours of content. The director noted that the project grew beyond its original 40 hour blueprint during production. The development team reports that the experience now extends across multiple playstyles which various players will use to play the game.
The gameplay duration provides players with a chance to explore the world while upgrading their equipment until the experience becomes boring. Coen travels through the Carpathian Mountains to reach Vale Sangora. The story trailer revealed during the recent Road to Launch event highlights a struggle for power after feudal lords were replaced by a vampire clique. The valley dwellers will experience major effects from player decisions which lead to decisive outcomes between the different factions.
The Blood of Dawnwalker presents major technical difficulties to users because it operates on the Unreal Engine 5, which requires high PC specifications. The official system requirements suggest that native performance will require premium hardware. Players must use at least an Intel Core i5 10400F or an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X with an NVIDIA RTX 3050 or an AMD RX Vega 56 to achieve 1080p at 30 FPS on low settings. The game requires players to have 16 GB of RAM and 60 GB of storage space on a solid state drive according to its requirements.
The requirements for high settings with 60 FPS performance require an Intel Core i5 13600 and either an NVIDIA RTX 5060 for 1080p or an RTX 4070 Ti for 1440p. The most striking revelation is the hardware needed for native 4K resolution at 60 FPS on ultra presets. The tier requires that players must obtain the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 according to Rebel Wolves. Mid range graphics cards can use DLSS and FSR upscaling which developers confirmed as supported features, yet the game establishes itself as a visual benchmark for 2026 hardware through its native visual targets.
The production methods at Rebel Wolves demonstrate their dedication to authentic results through their commitment to authentic production methods. The studio used former UFC champion Jan Błachowicz as a partner who performed motion capture work to create combat that feels powerful and realistic. Błachowicz provides the physical performance for Bakir a primary antagonist within the vampire hierarchy. The design of realistic movement creates an authentic experience which delivers weight to every stab and swing during intense third person combat situations.
Preorders are now live across PC PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S. The studio sells an Eclipse Edition together with its retail Day One Edition which includes a digital compendium and the original soundtrack. A limited Collector's Edition is also planned for the September 3 launch. Vale Sangora will showcase its detailed level design and narrative driven activities through its 10 minute gameplay demonstration which remains polished as the Road to Launch continues.
