Acer Predator Helios 10 High End Portable System Launches with RTX 5090 Graphics and Core Ultra 9 Processor featuring Mini LED Display and Advanced Thermal Engineering
Acer released its high end portable system, the Predator Helios 10, for hardcore hardware users and to accelerate artificial intelligence computation. Based on the corporate release notes, this portable is priced $8,155 world wide and features the top tier silicon from Intel and NVIDIA in a new case.
A premium Mini LED display, with 1,024 localized dimming zones for optimal contrast, powers this portable system with its 3840 x 2400 resolution running at the native refresh rate of 120 Hz. Professional esports competitors may switch to the special display mode to set resolution to 1920x1080 for a 240 Hz high refresh rate display. Peak screen brightness of this display system can reach 1,000 nits to enhance High Dynamic Range contents.
The main processor of the Predator Helios 10 is the 24 core Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor. It also supports 192 GB of system memory, up to 4TB of solid state storage in its most powerful configuration and features NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 mobile graphics with 24 GB of GDDR7 video memory to handle the most graphics intensive workloads. The cooling system includes two cooling fans and six copper heat pipes to carry heat away from the main components under load.
The ports featured on this laptop include:

This machine also features an Intel Killer Wi Fi 7 for ultra fast wireless networking. On the audio end, the Predator Helios 10 has six integrated speakers tuned with DTS X Ultra technology for three dimensional sound stage simulation.
An RGB lit exterior design with a fully customizable RGB zone setup decorates the casing of this portable system. For hardware users, there is a full keyboard that provides a nice tactile feel with a 2.0 mm travel distance for each key, per key RGB backlighting programmable in Acer custom software utility.
