Asus has officially brought its 2026 ROG Zephyrus G14 and G16 machines to the North American market after its initial launch in Europe. According to the official Asus store listings, the new laptops are built upon the Intel Panther Lake architecture, and the 14 inch and 16 inch laptops will offer up to a Core Ultra 9 386H and Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 laptop graphics cards.
ROG Zephyrus G14 GU405 Specs and Canadian Pricing
The ROG Zephyrus G14 GU405 will serve as Intel alternatives for AMD Gorgon Point equipped models. In Canada, the laptop starts at 4299 CAD, with an GeForce RTX 5070, 32 GB RAM configuration. A more premium configuration with a GeForce RTX 5070 Ti and 1TB storage will be listed at 4799 CAD. In the US market, Asus is pricing the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti model at 3599 USD. While the studio claims support up to 2TB of storage, a GeForce RTX 5080 model has been listed, however it has yet to make it to North America where it was 19% more expensive than the Ti model available in the UK.
ROG Zephyrus G16 GU606 Configurations and Memory Upgrades
The larger ROG Zephyrus G16 GU606 offers improved thermal headroom and larger memory configurations up to 64 GB. In the US, the laptops are available starting at 3699 USD for a Core Ultra 9 386H processor and a GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card. Increasing memory to 64 GB brings up the total to 4799 USD with the exact same hardware, no other component has been modified. Canadian pricing spans further along the GeForce RTX 50 series lineup with the entry model priced at 3099 CAD, having a GeForce RTX 5060, and 32 GB of RAM. The GeForce RTX 5070 model has been priced at 4299 CAD and a GeForce RTX 5070 Ti at 4999 CAD.
The top end of the Canadian offerings can be found in the form of a GeForce RTX 5080 laptop with 64 GB RAM, and 2TB of storage at 6999 CAD. In the US, the flagship GeForce RTX 5090 is selling for 7699 CAD and has yet to arrive on the Canadian store. These 2026 models represent a redesign of last year hardware, with upgraded I/O and the newer chassis design unveiled at CES earlier in the year.
