Both motherboards in the series come in an all black design that incorporates the matte finish cooling armor found across the iGame GeForce RTX 50 Series ULTRA graphics cards. Key shared features include:

  • Wi Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity for high speed wireless.
  • Full suite of PCIe 5.0 components and support for DDR5 memory with AMD EXPO profiles.
  • VGA snap fit quick release mechanism for the main PCIe 5.0 x16 slot to aid in assembly.
  • M.2 Quick Latch systems for easy drive installation.

The iGame B850M ULTRA S is aimed towards gaming and workstation tasks for more mainstream users, including the ability to power a vast number of AMD Ryzen processors. It includes a 14+2+1 phase 80 A DrMOS power delivery solution, fed through two 8 pin CPU power connectors to ensure consistent power delivery for more demanding tasks.

On the other hand, the iGame B850M ULTRA S has four DDR5 slots that are reinforced to handle a total memory capacity of 256 GB and support speeds of up to DDR5 8400 when utilizing AMD EXPO profiles. For storage, the ULTRA S has three M.2 slots with support for the extremely high speed PCIe 5.0 x4 standard on two of them and the widely available PCIe 4.0 x4 interface for the remaining slot.

The rear I/O array is comprised of one USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type C port, three Type A USB ports, two display outputs (HDMI and DisplayPort), one 2.5 Gb Ethernet port and mounts for a wireless antenna. Additional to this there is plenty of ARGB connectivity spread across the board.

The iGame B850M ULTRA OC, while similar to the iGame B850M ULTRA S in its base architecture, is geared specifically for extreme overclocking and extreme hardware tuning. This board features several enthusiast grade optimizations:

  • 10+2+1 phase 60 A DrMOS power delivery design optimized for running flagship processors at elevated voltages.
  • Specific support for the Ryzen 9 9950X3D and Ryzen 7 9850X3D.
  • 2 DIMM memory layout capable of DDR5 8400 with AMD EXPO and up to DDR5 8800 when overclocked through BIOS.
  • Four M.2 slots for extra storage capacity across PCIe 5.0 and PCIe 4.0 interfaces.
  • Network speed boost via a 5 Gb Ethernet controller complementing built in Wi Fi 7.

These are joined by the standard assortment of rear I/O and an abundance of overclocker friendly features.
