Electronic Arts Announces EA Sports UFC 6 Gameplay Features Release Schedule and Combat Realism with Cover Athlete Alex Pereira
Electronic Arts announced the gameplay features and release schedule for their upcoming EA Sports UFC 6 game. Electronic Arts published a gameplay trailer for EA Sports UFC 6 following the start of pre orders in late April. The new footage highlights 2 specific career modes which are Hall of Legends and The Legacy. The first mode explores the professional history of iconic MMA figures while the second mode provides players with character progression through their created characters. according to the Electronic Arts press release both modes are designed to show the preparation and training that occurs behind the scenes of the sport.
The developers at Electronic Arts developed EA Sports UFC 6 with improved physical realism compared to their earlier game versions. The simulation utilizes updated Markerless Capture and Sapien technology along with a Real Time Contact system. The new mechanical upgrades will change the experience of each fighter in the roster for the combat system. The 2026 release establishes individual physics and character movement as its main development component.
Electronic Arts confirmed that Alex Pereira is the featured athlete on the standard edition cover. Max Holloway appears on the cover of the Ultimate Edition which is priced at 100 dollars. The higher tier version includes additional content for players looking for a more comprehensive experience at launch.
EA Sports UFC 6 will launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles on June 19. The publisher has not officially announced a PC version yet industry sources report that a PC port is currently being developed.
