Huawei Launches Watch Fit 5 Series in Global Markets Featuring High Brightness AMOLED Displays Titanium Architecture and Advanced TruSense Health Monitoring Systems

Huawei has launched its Watch Fit 5 and Watch Fit 5 Pro products to international markets after their Bangkok Thailand launch event. The new wearables for this product line introduce higher performance capabilities through their better display brightness and dedicated health tracking functions. The regular Watch Fit 5 comes at a price of £159.99 while the Pro version serves as the premium choice which costs £249.99.

The Pro model has an LTPO AMOLED display which measures 1.92 inches and achieves a maximum brightness of 3000 nits. The display provides 480 by 408 pixel resolution which results in 328 PPI viewing and the screen has 2.5 D curved sapphire glass as its protective layer. The product uses a titanium alloy for its bezel and an aluminum casing which has a thickness of 9.5 mm to create its build quality. The product achieves an 83% screen to body ratio which provides users with maximum viewable screen area.

The standard model uses a 1.82 inch AMOLED display which offers 2500 nits of brightness and 347 PPI resolution. The material employs 100% recycled aluminum for its case construction while using lithium aluminum silicate glass as its protective element. The model weighs 27 grams which makes it lighter than the Pro version which weighs 30.4 grams. Both models have a slim design which allows them to fit wrist sizes between 120 mm and 210 mm depending on which strap users select.

The Watch Fit 5 Pro includes TruSense system for monitoring heart rate blood oxygen levels skin temperature and ECG readings. The system uses pulse wave analysis to identify heart irregularities and it includes arterial stiffness detection capabilities. The standard model maintains essential heart rate monitoring and sleep tracking capabilities but it does not include ECG and temperature sensors. Both versions come with the updated Emotional Wellbeing 2.0 system and the TruSleep system which allows users to track their health status in detail.

The Huawei device includes more than 100 exercise modes which focus on specific sports activities. The Pro model provides Golf Mode functionality which includes vector maps that cover more than 17000 golf courses throughout the world and it enables free diving at 40 meter depths. The two watches offer Mini Workouts which enable users to follow 30 different exercises through animated panda demonstrations. The system provides multiple functions which include automatic fall detection along with virtual power meter capabilities for cycling and running performance evaluation.

The two wearables come with a 471 mAh battery capacity. Light usage of the devices allows them to operate for 10 days while people who use them at normal levels will see their battery last for 7 days. The runtime decreases to 4 days when users turn on the Always On Display feature. The watches support fast charging and use the Huawei Health application for synchronizing health data.

The two devices enable users to connect with Android and iOS mobile devices. The standard model features Bluetooth 5.4 for wireless connections while select Pro models come with Bluetooth 6.0 functionality. The Pro model allows users to make contactless payments through the Curved Pay system. The Watch Fit 5 series provides fitness enthusiasts and professional users with a dependable tool for receiving notifications throughout their day to day activities.

Huawei also introduced the Watch GT Runner 2 Racing Legend Edition to the market as its special limited edition timepiece which retails for £349.99. The Watch Ultimate Design Spring Edition offers a luxury option which has a price tag of £3,000. The wrist worn masterpiece contains 99 natural diamonds which embellish the design while the diamond cut sapphire crystal functions as its display window. The company uses these product launches to expand its market coverage from budget fitness trackers to premium luxury watches.
