Nubia GT Buds Budget Gaming Headset Launches with Bluetooth 6.0 Active Noise Cancelling and 40 Hour Battery Life in a Transparent LED Case
Nubia has just launched the GT Buds TWS headset for the budget gaming user market. The internal construction is distinct from other models, with a transparent plastic finish and integrated LED illumination in the case to see inside the components as well as allow for illumination typical for gaming hardware. According to the company's announcement, it will retail in China for $39.
In order to reduce lag, the GT Buds' interior uses a Bluetooth 6.0 chipset that allows for stable connectivity. Active noise cancelling, with an ambient noise reduction of up to 35dB, is included with the software and is a feature usually reserved for more high end headphones. However, this software also has a "Gaming Mode" that minimizes the audio latency of the headset down to 70 ms, perfect for when gaming needs to stay synchronized with in game audio and actions.
As far as battery capacity is concerned, the earbuds can operate for 6 hours, but the included charging case can extend that life to a total of 40 hours. While allowing you to game for that long, the case is not just for extra charge; it also looks the part as far as the special lighting goes with the transparent cover.
The exterior surfaces of the earbuds are touch sensitive panels used to control media playback, as well as call a voice assistant. By offering a combination of long battery life and gaming features, the GT Buds can be found as a very useful sub $50 gadget.
