Colorful Star X16 Pro Gaming Laptop Launch Details Specifications Features Pricing Display and Processing Capabilities
Colorful has added a gaming laptop to its array of portable hardware in the Star X16 Pro. Displayed at an official Colorful launch event, the machine boasts a cool metal chassis and is furnished with a 16 inch display. The hardware can now be purchased in China with prices starting from $1064.00 at the time of launch in the entry level specification.
At the core of the Colorful Star X16 Pro's interface is a 16 inch display with a native resolution of 2.5K. This monitor has been constructed to deliver high refresh rate for speedy game action at 180Hz and color accuracy by supporting 100% of the sRGB color spectrum. Driving the machine is an Intel Core i5 14450HX with 10 cores while being assisted by 16GB RAM and 512GB of storage.
For graphic rendering capabilities it has been equipped with current generation Nvidia graphics card in 2 forms, a GeForce RTX 5050 or an RTX 5070. To ensure stability under demanding applications such as games, Colorful has designed it with a thermal management system capable of dissipating 200W of thermal energy with 2 fans, 5 copper pipes.
Its all metal body means it can afford a wide range of external device connectivity. Included are three USB A ports and two USB C ports for fast data transfer, there's also a gigabit LAN connection for wired internet and HDMI 2.1 for display output. Finally a 3.5 mm audio port is present.
