Rockstar Games Grand Theft Auto VI pre orders launch in June along with official cover art reveal and protagonist details plus sales projections
Rockstar Games announced that Pre Orders on the digital stores for PlayStation and Xbox, along with retail availability will go live in late June. As per Rockstar latest official video, the open world action title is still on track to meet its estimated release in late autumn. Currently, players can Wish List the game from both The PlayStation Store and the Xbox Store to automatically be notified when a store page becomes available for pre orders.
The latest news was shared along with a 32 second long trailer that highlighted the official Grand Theft Auto VI cover art. The art depicts a stylized design of a totally revamped Vice City and showcases the 2 main protagonists of the upcoming game, Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval. This mosaic of elements showcases many of the usual Grand Theft Auto signature visuals like a motorcycle performing a wheelie right in front of a police car, an attack helicopter equipped with a mounted Minigun and an Alligator among others. Also featured in the art are supporting protagonists and antagonists Boobie Ike and Raul Bautista whom are rumored to be significant in the narrative.
Based on market research from many of industry experts mentioned in the latest reports, it is estimated that The Day 1 sales figures for the latest Installment in Rockstar’s franchise will reach somewhere around 46,000,000 units. These high expectations were fostered by an incredibly long development cycle that has officially started off with a groundbreaking reveal trailer late last year.
