Meta launches Meta AI glasses with Muse Spark multimodal model for advanced local processing audio features and stylish customization options

Meta has launched its own line of smart glasses, the Meta AI glasses. While the accessory is not co branded with a major company like Oakley or Ray Ban, the Meta branded glasses use the Meta AI Platform natively running on the new Muse Spark multimodal model, and providing advanced AI capabilities at an affordable price.

By integrating the Muse Spark chipset, the glasses allows for local analysis of complex audio and visual inputs. Real time voice translation, proactive navigation aid, and contextual object recognition are all made possible. The AI helper will also help with task scheduling and habit building.

All of these features will turn on if the user presses an if you can't find it, press this button on the frame.

Built in noise cancelling microphones capture the user's spoken commands while open ear speakers convey audio content with dynamic clean sound that does not deafen the user.

The frames contain an integrated camera which can record sequential shots whenever needed. Meta intends to unveil an interactive photographic function over the course of summer, which will enable its pervasive external artificial intelligence to take a set of photographs in a sequence and automatically retain the highest quality one. Internal battery capacitate up to eight hours of continuous usage.

The product line is initially launched with 3 base frame shapes suitable for a different style of preference. The pure rectangular shape of an Adventurer design, and the more square rounded shape of a Fury design. The third choice, Glasses by Kylie, is an oval shape designed in cooperation with model Kylie Jenner.

In addition to the base shapes the customer has 26 different styles to choose from, which include custom frame colors and prescription lenses.

The entry level of the Meta Glasses themselves is priced at $ 299.00 for the US market.
