PELADN AI 470 Mini PC Launches with Zen 5 AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 Processor and OCuLink for Professional AI Workloads

PELADN has announced the upcoming launch of the PELADN AI 470 Mini PC, a compact desktop computer specifically designed for demanding AI workloads, gaming, and professional applications. As stated in the official PELADN product launch, the new hardware will be priced at $1,299 and aims to provide desktop class processing power without the bulk of traditional tower PCs for professionals such as software engineers, content creators, and digital artists who need a workstation that takes up minimal space.

At the heart of the PELADN AI 470 lies the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 processor, built on the new Zen 5 architecture. This processor boasts 12 Cores and 24 Threads which can boost speeds to up to 5.2GHz. Alongside the CPU, there is an on chip neural processor that can accelerate AI tasks with up to 55 TOPS of processing power. Combined with the CPU and GPU performance, the system as a whole can offer up to 86 TOPS of local AI computing performance. This allows users to run, deploy, and utilize AI models, advanced intelligent software, and features like Copilot plus locally on the device, without the need to subscribe to cloud based AI services.

The on board AMD Radeon 890M graphics utilizes the latest RDNA architecture for graphical tasks. This component provides enough performance for running popular esports titles, and most modern games at lower resolution and/or detail settings. To enable even greater graphics capabilities, PELADN has integrated an OCuLink connection into the chassis of the computer. This is an advanced high speed connection that users can utilize with external graphics card docks to add dedicated graphics capabilities to the small computer, turning it into a powerful gaming or rendering workstation.

For multitasking purposes, the system can drive up to three displays simultaneously, and also comes with 32GB of DDR5 RAM along with a 1TB PCIe NVMe solid state drive for quick file access. During intensive tasks like prolonged gaming or rendering, an intelligent, low noise cooling system maintains component stability by efficiently removing heat while keeping fan noise to a minimum.

The computer features a customizable RGB lighting system with multiple dynamic effects, that can be adjusted to either a more subtle, professional setting, or a vibrant gaming theme. Its small size means the device can either be mounted behind a compatible display, sit unobtrusively on a desk, or integrate seamlessly into a home entertainment system. Connectivity includes modern high speed USB ports, wired networking and advanced wireless communication, giving the PELADN AI 470 the versatility needed to address a variety of professional and consumer use cases.
