Acer has updated the Aspire 18 laptop with new Intel configurations alongside the existing AMD models. The massive 18 inch device pairs a high resolution screen with an impressive battery life capable of lasting over 17 hours on a single charge. The premium configuration is now available in Europe starting at 2999 Euros.
For the top tier model, Acer has loaded the machine with an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor and 32 GB of memory. It also includes 1 TB of solid state storage. The 18 inch IPS display outputs a 1200p resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and 400 nits of peak brightness. This combination provides a spacious workspace and smooth visuals for daily multitasking.
A 71 Wh battery powers the laptop, which managed to achieve up to 17.5 hours of web browsing during manufacturer testing. This battery fits inside a chassis measuring 400 by 272.4 by 12.4 to 19 millimeters. The entire system weighs 2.19 kilograms, which is relatively light for a machine of this scale. The physical design allows it to remain portable despite the massive display footprint.
Budget conscious buyers can look forward to more affordable models coming later. These cheaper options will feature the Intel Core Ultra 5 325 processor with 16 GB of memory and 512 GB of storage. Another variant will offer the Core Ultra 5 322 processor paired with a faster 165 Hz refresh rate screen. Acer plans to share release dates and local pricing for these alternative models at a future date.
