ASUS has introduced a 20th Anniversary Edition of the ROG Swift 27 Pro Gen 2 OLED. This collectible release comes in 2 options: a standard package and a version that includes a dedicated desk stand. According to official Chinese retail listings, this display is aimed squarely at competitive players who want extreme motion clarity paired with premium aesthetics.
The physical look is the main draw here. The back of the monitor and the stand feature gold ROG 20th Anniversary commemorative branding. ASUS even slapped on a 24K gold plated nameplate to make the package stand out on your desk. On the front, you get a 4th generation WOLED panel supplied by LG Display. Speed is the priority. The monitor supports dual mode operation, letting players swap between a blistering 720P resolution at 720Hz or a sharp 2K resolution at 540Hz depending on the game.
The performance metrics match the aesthetic upgrades. The panel has a 0.02ms gray to gray response time, which virtually wipes out motion blur during fast gameplay. Peak brightness hits 1500 nits. This earned the screen a VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification. The color gamut volume lands at 99.5%. ASUS applied a TrueBlack Glossy coating to the screen. This ensures a clean look with zero haze while keeping annoying light reflections to an absolute minimum.
The port selection is modern and built for high bandwidth. You get 1 DisplayPort 2.1 UHBR20 port and 2 HDMI 2.1 ports. There is also an integrated USB hub that splits into 3 USB A 5Gbps ports to clean up your desktop cable management. Pricing in the Chinese market is set at 8999 yuan for the standard edition. The version with the desk stand climbs to 9499 yuan. Both versions are heading to retail shelves soon.
