Cooler Master expanded its thermal hardware lineup with the introduction of the V8 ACE 3DHP, a flagship single tower air cooler designed for both Intel and AMD processors. According to the official product release from Cooler Master, this cooling solution is built specifically to handle the intense thermal loads of high performance gaming rigs and professional workstations.
The defining feature of the V8 ACE 3DHP is its hybrid thermal transfer system. It integrates 2 proprietary 3DHP vapor chamber tubes alongside 4 traditional heat pipes. This specific layout is engineered to pull heat directly from the hottest concentrated point on the processor lid and distribute it evenly across the aluminum heatsink. Cooler Master claims this thermal transfer efficiency allows the single tower footprint to match the cooling capacity of larger, bulkier dual tower systems.
Airflow is managed by 2 120mm fans that feature a thickness of 30 millimeters, which is a significant increase over standard 25 millimeter case fans. These thicker fans produce a powerful 90 CFM of air volume while keeping noise levels minimal. To ensure the larger fans do not interfere with system builds, Cooler Master developed a tool free, slide out mounting mechanism. This design allows users to install or remove the fans without tools, preventing the cooler from blocking access to the motherboard memory slots even when using tall RAM modules.
Rather than using a universal mounting plate, Cooler Master is producing distinct, dedicated versions of the cooler optimized for specific processor manufacturers. The copper contact base and tension brackets of each version are precision shaped to match the exact curve of the corresponding integrated heat spreader. The Intel specific model is designed to support sockets LGA 1851, LGA 1700, LGA 1200, and LGA 115X. The AMD specific version is tailored exclusively for the AM5 and AM4 platforms. Pricing and regional market availability for the V8 ACE 3DHP have not yet been disclosed.
