Running on new AMD Ryzen AI 400 silicon, the HP EliteBook 8 G2a features local artificial intelligence processing, up to 64 GB of DDR5 memory and a high speed PCIe Gen5 solid state drive. The premium office machine is now available starting at $1799.
HP built the top tier model of this computer using the Ryzen AI 7 PRO 450 processor. This silicon carries a dedicated NPU for handling offline AI tasks and includes enterprise grade data protection. Memory configurations max out at 64 GB of speedy DDR5 5600 RAM, while the storage compartment supports up to 1 TB NVMe drives. Power comes from an optional 8 cell battery rated at 77 Wh. The total weight starts at 1.74 kilograms, depending on the parts you select.
The screen offers a spacious 16 inch anti glare display with a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels. It outputs up to 400 nits of brightness and has built in technology to reduce blue light strain on your eyes. It also covers 100% of the sRGB color space. Physical connections are plentiful, housing an HDMI 2.1 port, Type A ports, Type C ports, and a Thunderbolt 4 connection.
