iQOO Pad 5c Tablet Launches with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 Processor and 144Hz Display to Provide Premium Performance at Mid Range Prices

A new player has entered the tablet market with the launch of the iQOO Pad 5c. The tablet is available at a mid range price point while providing high end performance according to the official iQOO product launch. The device runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 allowing it to handle intense multitasking and mobile gaming workloads with ease.

The front of the device is covered by a 12.1 inch IPS display featuring a resolution of 2.8K. The panel offers a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz for smooth images. This high quality display pairs with the Snapdragon chip and options for 8 GB or 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Storage configurations include 128 GB or 256 GB utilizing fast UFS 3.1 read and write speeds.

Despite a svelte chassis measuring only 6.62 millimeters thick the tablet packs a massive 10000 mAh battery. Power is supplied via 44W wired fast charging to minimize downtime. For capturing images and video calls the device provides an 8 MP primary rear camera and a 5 MP front facing camera. Audio is delivered through an integrated system of four speakers.

The device runs on OriginOS 6 which has been heavily modified for large tablet screens. Productivity features include a desktop style multi window arrangement wireless printing support and a pre installed WPS office suite. Wi Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 provide modern wireless connections while physical connectivity is handled by a USB Type C port meeting the USB 3.2 Gen 1 specification.

The hardware is launching in the Chinese market and is available for retail immediately. Pricing is determined by the internal memory and storage configurations. The entry level model with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage is priced at 400 dollars. The mid tier model with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage is 440 dollars while the premium 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage model is priced at 515 dollars.
