A new gaming tablet is on the horizon. Heading to the Chinese market next month, the Lenovo Legion Y700 Infinite features an 8 inch OLED display, an overclocked Snapdragon processor, and built in 5G cellular connectivity. But the company has kept official pricing under wraps.
Popular insider Digital Chat Station has shared major specifications for the upcoming device. The 8 inch OLED panel includes a centered circular punch hole for the front camera. The hardware weighs roughly 310 grams, which makes it 50 grams lighter than the previous generation. This weight drop should make long gaming sessions much more comfortable.
This model will be the first in the lineup to offer 5G capabilities. The system supports a physical SIM card and an eSIM simultaneously in dual standby mode, with a specialized internal antenna array to keep the signal strong in any orientation. On the processing side, the tablet runs an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor reaching speeds up to 4.74 GHz.
Buyers can choose from several memory configurations, with options scaling up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The back panel includes a 50 megapixel camera alongside customizable RGB lighting. Given the sudden appearance of official teasers, a complete launch is expected within weeks.
