MSI has launched the MPG VIXTA 300 PZ, a gaming PC case featuring a curved tempered glass panel. The chassis uses a hovering base with 75 millimeters of open clearance to maximize bottom up airflow. It is now available starting at US$83 for the standard black version.
The unique hovering design leaves 75 millimeters of empty space beneath the main chamber. This allows cool air to draft directly from the bottom of the enclosure to the top. Airflow is the main focus. The structure supports standard ATX, Micro ATX, and Mini ITX motherboards, alongside back connect boards designed to hide cables.
A single sheet of curved tempered glass covers both the front and side walls using a quick release mechanism for tool free entry. Inside, there is room for a graphics card up to 420 millimeters long. A magnetic power supply shroud cover hides the cables, and an adjustable anti sag stand is included to prevent heavy graphics cards from bending the motherboard slot.
Storage options are modest but practical. You get space for 1 solid state drive measuring 2.5 inches, plus an extra bay that fits another 2.5 inch drive or a larger 3.5 inch hard drive. The physical input panel is located on the side of the chassis, carrying 1 USB Type C port and 2 USB Type A ports. CPU coolers can stand up to 165 millimeters tall.
Liquid cooling builds can fit a 360 millimeter radiator along the top. For air cooling, the chassis supports 1 rear fan measuring 120 millimeters, plus 3 top fans or 2 side fans measuring 140 millimeters. The power supply shroud also holds up to 3 extra 120 millimeter fans. Case dimensions measure 455 by 235 by 497 millimeters. Standard models ship without fans for US$83 in black and US$88 in white, while versions bundled with 3 fans retail for US$92 and US$97 respectively.
