Nubia has announced plans to launch the first smartphone in the world equipped with an active AI agent. Unlike standard mobile intelligence systems that merely answer queries or generate text this device is designed to execute complex operations directly on behalf of the owner. The hardware represents a shift from passive digital assistants to autonomous software capable of managing real world logistics.
Industry reports suggest the upcoming device is the commercial iteration of the Nubia Doubao second generation which was developed in close partnership with ByteDance. Rather than functioning as a basic application overlay this AI agent is integrated deeply within the core operating system.
