OPPO has launched the K15, a gaming smartphone featuring an active internal cooling fan. The hardware pairs a massive 8000 mAh battery with military grade durability and a Dimensity 7360 Super processor. But the company has yet to announce the official retail price.
Maintaining low temperatures during intense gaming sessions is the main goal of the integrated fan, which boasts a lifespan of at least 5 years. This active cooler works alongside a vapor chamber measuring 4950 square millimeters to dissipate heat from the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Super chip. Up front, the phone features a 6.59 inch OLED display with a resolution of 2760x1256 pixels.
For physical protection, the chassis holds an IP69 water resistance rating alongside a military MIL STD certification. The massive 8000 mAh battery keeps the phone running, and it supports 80 watt fast charging. These protective measures ensure the device can survive heavy drops and deep water submersion without hardware failure.
The back panel features RGB lighting and a dual camera array with a 50 megapixel main sensor with optical stabilization and a 50 megapixel ultrawide lens. A matching 50 megapixel selfie camera sits on the front of the display. Dual band GPS is included for location tracking. Shipments are set to begin later this month, but early buyers will have to wait for pricing details.
