Thunderobot wants to change that. They just launched the Black Warrior CF25F300W monitor in China. It packs a 320 Hz refresh rate for only 118 dollars. That is a price tag you usually see on basic office displays. According to the product details on the official Thunderobot page, this budget screen does not cut many corners.
The monitor features a 24.5 inch Fast IPS panel running at 1920x1080 resolution. With a 320 Hz refresh rate and a 1 ms response time, motion blur is practically gone. The screen gets surprisingly bright, reaching up to 450 nits. Color accuracy is solid too, with 99% sRGB coverage and 93% Display P3. This makes it a great fit for fast competitive games where every frame matters.
Competitive players need smooth visuals, so Thunderobot included support for both Nvidia G Sync and AMD FreeSync. You also get OverDrive support and flicker free technology to prevent eye strain during long gaming sessions. There are built in features like picture in picture and picture by picture, which let you show feeds from 2 computers at the same time. The monitor even has hardware overlays like a built in crosshair and an on screen timer.
Connectivity is straightforward. On the back, you will find 2 HDMI 2.0 ports and 2 DisplayPort 1.4 connections. There is also a 3.5 mm audio jack to plug in your headphones. The included stand only allows you to tilt the screen from 5 degrees down to 20 degrees up, so do not expect full height adjustment. Still, for 118 dollars, these tradeoffs are incredibly easy to overlook.
