Titan Army G2785M QD OLED 500Hz Gaming Monitor Launches With High Speed Display Tech

Chinese display maker Titan Army has released a gaming monitor that pushes refresh rates to absolute extremes. The G2785M brings a 500 Hz refresh rate to a QD OLED panel, attempting to win over the esports crowd who usually rely on older TN or IPS technologies for speed.

The screen measures 26.5 inches across and delivers a 2560x1440 resolution. By combining quantum dots with an OLED panel, the monitor hits color targets that cover 100% sRGB, 99% P3, and 98% AdobeRGB. Peak brightness reaches up to 1000 nits when displaying HDR content. To ease fears of long term damage, the company is including a 3 year warranty against pixel burn in under its OLED Care+ program.

Console players can also use this display. The G2785M includes a dedicated console mode that supports a 120 Hz signal alongside VRR and ALLM features. For PC setups, the screen supports AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G SYNC to prevent screen tearing during fast motion. The on screen menu lets you choose between 13 different display profiles tailored for specific gaming genres.

The back of the display houses the standard connectivity ports. You get HDMI and DisplayPort inputs alongside 2 USB A ports. The USB ports can function as a KVM switch, letting you control 2 computers with 1 keyboard and mouse. There is also a standard headphone jack. The included stand is fully adjustable, allowing you to change the height, tilt, and swivel, or even turn the panel 90 degrees into a vertical position.

Titan Army is launching the monitor in China first. According to regional retail listings, the G2785M is priced at $738. This competitive pricing strategy could shake up the market, as premium fast panels usually cost much more. Global availability details have not been released yet.
