Ugreen has released the Max5s, an affordable pair of on ear headphones packing premium specifications. The new model offers active noise cancellation, High Resolution audio certification, and a battery that lasts up to 112 hours on a single charge. This hardware has launched in China with a retail price of just 25 dollars.

The audio setup relies on 40 millimeter drivers made with a dual layer polymer diaphragm designed to balance low, mid, and high frequencies. Active noise cancellation is powered by 5 built in microphones that reduce ambient sound by up to 45 decibels. Users can toggle between 5 distinct noise control profiles including adaptive, wind noise reduction, enhanced isolation, and voice pass through mode.

This model is certified for High Resolution audio in both wired and wireless modes using the high quality LDAC codec. Wireless connectivity runs on the new Bluetooth 6.0 protocol, which supports dual device pairing to let you connect to a phone and computer at the same time. The internal 800 mAh battery delivers 112 hours of total playback, dropping to 74 hours with noise cancellation active, with a full recharge taking 2 hours.

The physical build features folding ear cups for easier storage while traveling. On the software side, the headphones support several integrated artificial intelligence features, including real time text to speech translation. Ugreen has combined these advanced software options and a folding design to appeal to daily commuters on a tight budget.
