According to initial details from the product launch, this deck is built for players who hate charging their wireless accessories.
The keyboard uses a 98% layout. This means you still get a numeric keypad and a full function row, but in a tighter frame that saves desk space. The standout feature is the 12000 mAh battery tucked inside the chassis. Valkyrie claims this power source keeps the board running for up to 12000 hours when connected via Bluetooth. If you switch to the dedicated 2.4 GHz wireless connection, that estimate drops to 4000 hours. Still, that is a massive window of playtime.
Speed is the other major selling point here. The VK99 V2 supports a blistering 8000 Hz polling rate. This ultra fast performance works over both a standard wired connection and the 2.4 GHz wireless dongle. Competitive gamers will appreciate the virtually nonexistent input lag during intense matches.
