Acer Launches Aspire Go 15 AG15 Q31P with Snapdragon C Chip

Acer has launched the Aspire Go 15 AG15 Q31P laptop in overseas markets to target value buyers. The device pairs an 8 core Qualcomm Snapdragon C processor with a 15.6 inch screen to compete directly against the MacBook Neo. This budget friendly machine is now available for purchase starting at 499.99 British pounds.

According to the product sheets released during the launch, the heart of this budget machine is the Qualcomm Snapdragon C processor. This silicon uses an 8 core design and includes integrated Adreno graphics. While it is not designed for heavy gaming, the setup handles daily office work, web browsing, and video streaming with ease. An internal 53Wh battery powers the system, which should get users through a standard workday without a charger.

For memory and storage, Acer has equipped this model with 8GB of RAM and a 128GB hard drive. The display is a 15.6 inch panel with a standard 1920x1080 resolution and a 16:9 widescreen ratio. Unlike smaller ultraportables, this model features a full size keyboard complete with a dedicated numeric keypad for spreadsheet work. It offers a solid set of basics for students and remote workers.

The laptop offers surprisingly good connectivity options for its low price point. You get 2 USB C ports, 1 USB A port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an HDMI 1.4 port for external displays. It also supports Wi Fi 6E for fast wireless internet connections. A 1080P webcam and dual speakers are built into the frame, making the system ready for video calls straight out of the box.
