It debuts first in Japan later this week before launching globally next week with an expected promotional price tag of around 199 dollars.
This new model is the 3rd compact tablet from the brand this year. It sits between the affordable iPlay 80 mini Pro and the flagship 5G iPlay 80 mini Ultra. While the Pro version targets simple tasks like reading, the Turbo version focuses on performance and gaming. It targets players who want smooth frame rates without paying premium prices.
The screen is a major selling point. The 8.8 inch display runs at 2.5K resolution, which keeps text and graphics sharp during play. Mobile games will benefit from the 120Hz refresh rate, making animations look fluid. Under the hood, the Dimensity 7400 processor provides the muscle.
