Colorful has introduced its first liquid cooled gaming notebook, the Hidden Star P16 Pro Starwind Water Cooled Edition 2026. The machine pairs an Intel Core Ultra 7 251HX processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 graphics with a detachable external cooling dock to cut fan noise and drop operating temperatures. The new 16 inch laptop arrives in the Chinese market priced at roughly $1710.
The main selling point of this design is its hybrid thermal management system. When you use the laptop on the move, 2 internal fans and 5 heat pipes manage heat dissipation just like a regular notebook. Once plugged into the external Starwind S1 dock, internal liquid tubes link up with the station to run active coolant through the system. Colorful reports this dual setup pushes hardware performance higher while keeping the keyboard deck cooler and reducing overall acoustic noise.
Under the hood, Colorful went with a capable gaming configuration. Processing duties belong to an Intel Core Ultra 7 251HX chip, while graphics rendering relies on a mobile Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060. Memory is set at 16GB of fast DDR5 5600 RAM alongside a 1TB PCIe 4.0 solid state drive for storage. The display targets competitive gamers with a 16 inch IPS panel delivering 2560x1600 resolution, 500 nits of maximum brightness, full 100% sRGB color space support, and a fast 300 Hz refresh rate.
The chassis comes in a clean white color scheme with customizable ARGB lighting built into the top lid. Aluminum alloy covers both the top and bottom panels to add rigidity, while lightweight composite materials keep the total weight down to 2.05 kilograms. The laptop measures 19.9 millimeters thick at its thinnest point and houses a 60 Wh battery fueled by an included 280W GaN power brick. Physical connectivity includes 2 USB Type C ports reaching 10 Gbps speeds, 2 USB Type A ports running at 5 Gbps, HDMI 2.1, Gigabit Ethernet, and Wi Fi 6E for wireless gaming.
