This premium laptop targets digital content creators by packing high end computing performance into a chassis measuring just 16.7 millimeters thick. But the lack of memory upgrade paths might give some buyers pause.
Alongside this portable powerhouse, a new desktop option has arrived in Europe. The Lenovo IdeaCentre AIO 24ILL11 is an all in one computer built to compete directly with the 24 inch Apple iMac. Sporting Intel Core Ultra chips and a high refresh touchscreen, the desktop aims to win over home office users starting at €858.
Yoga Pro 7a Performance and Hardware Limitations
The retail price for the Yoga Pro 7a gets you the Ryzen AI Max plus 388 processor paired with 32GB of LPDDR5X 8000 RAM and a 512GB solid state drive. Lenovo opted not to offer the 64GB memory option in the US. This leaves buyers locked into 32GB of permanent memory. However, you can choose to configure a larger 1TB drive if you need the extra local storage. The system remains highly portable despite the heavy hardware, weighing in at just 3.77 pounds.
Under the hood, the Ryzen AI Max plus 388 operates with 8 Zen 5 cores peaking at 5GHz. The real draw here is the integrated Radeon 8060S graphics chip. This integrated silicon manages to match the gaming performance of a dedicated Nvidia RTX 4070 laptop graphics card according to independent reviews. To complement the power, the laptop features a 15.3 inch OLED touchscreen running at a fast 165Hz refresh rate with 1100 nits of brightness. You also get a large 84Wh battery, Wi Fi 7 connectivity, and an included stylus pen in the box.

For those preferring a desktop, the new IdeaCentre AIO features a 24 inch IPS touchscreen running at a smooth 100Hz refresh rate. It is designed to challenge the Apple iMac by offering a highly responsive interface with 99% sRGB color coverage. Processing power comes from either an Intel Core Ultra 5 226V or a Core Ultra 7 256V chip. Because of how these Intel chips are designed, system memory is capped at 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Testing shows the integrated Arc 140V graphics chip easily beats the 10 core graphics found inside the Apple M4 chip.
The computer includes a 5 megapixel camera and dual 3W speakers built into the frame. Buyers can also opt for a wireless charging pad built directly into the desktop stand to charge their phone.
