A slim new laptop configuration has arrived in China. Powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 256V processor, the Lenovo ThinkBook X 2026 features a vibrant 14 inch OLED display and a lightweight chassis weighing just 1.06 kilograms. But buyers outside of China will have to wait for global availability details.
Lenovo managed to pack serious hardware inside this 12.9 millimeter metal frame. The laptop ships with 16 GB of memory and 1 TB of storage space. To keep the processor running at a steady 30W of power, the engineering team packed a cooling system with 2 fans inside the slim body. This ensures the device runs quiet and cool even under heavy workloads.
The screen is the main attraction of the new setup. It features a 14 inch OLED panel running at a 120 Hz refresh rate with a resolution of 2880x1800 pixels. Colors look incredible because the factory calibrated display covers 100% of the DCI P3 color space. Slim borders allow the screen to take up 90.8% of the lid space. The display reaches a typical brightness of 500 nits and peaks at 1100 nits in bright environments.
A 65 Wh battery powers the machine, and the quick charging technology gets it back to 80% capacity in 1 hour. Port selection is generous for an ultra thin design. You get 2 USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A ports, 2 USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C ports, HDMI 2.1 TMDS, and a standard audio jack. The laptop is currently on sale in China starting at 8999 yuan, which converts to roughly 1333 US dollars.
