MSI Announces PRO MAX OLED 271UPJW12 with Inkjet Printed Panel

MSI has announced the PRO MAX OLED 271UPJW12, the first 27 inch 4K display powered by inkjet printed OLED technology. This monitor combines a fluid 120Hz refresh rate with subpixel optimizations designed to make text incredibly sharp for office work. However, buyers looking to charge heavy laptops through the screen might find the 15W power delivery limiting.

The screen boasts a density of 164 PPI and uses an RGB Stripe layout. Traditional OLED monitors often suffer from color fringing around text, but this design mimics LCD layouts to keep lines crisp. According to the official MSI product specifications, the panel covers 99% of the DCI P3 color space with a Delta E rating of 2 or less. For HDR content, it carries the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 rating and hits a peak brightness of 1000 nits. This means you get inky blacks without losing bright highlights.

Burn in remains a major worry for anyone buying an organic light emitting diode monitor. MSI aims to resolve this with its OLED Auto Care system. Most monitors force users to pause their work or gaming for a refresh cycle, but this background system calculates compensation in real time. It operates without interrupting your workflow or throwing up annoying popups.

Daily office use can easily scuff a screen, so the glass surface features an anti glare coating with 3H hardness. This provides 2.5 times better scratch protection than older models. For long sessions, the display relies on EyesErgo technology. This TUV certified solution filters out harmful light waves to keep your eyes comfortable. The system secures the Eyesafe 3.0 certification by keeping blue emissions under 20% while meeting the Circadian Protection Factor standard. This means working late won't mess with your sleep cycles.

The monitor features a flat stand that takes up very little desk space. A built in KVM switch lets you run 2 separate computers with 1 keyboard and mouse.
