Sapphire Reveals Nitro+ RX 9070 XT 16G V26 Valorant Custom Edition

Sapphire has introduced the Nitro+ RX 9070 XT 16G V26 Valorant Champions Tour Custom Edition graphics card. The new hardware pairs AMD performance with cableless PhantomLink power and a Valorant esports themed backplate. But unlike the official tournament hardware bundle released earlier, this standalone edition keeps the classic dark Nitro shroud styling.

Under the hood the card is built on the Nitro+ RX 9070 XT 16GB PhantomLink foundation. This system uses a dedicated gold finger power connector running along the bottom edge of the circuit board. It connects directly into compatible motherboards to route all necessary power internally. The design completely removes the need for standard power cables running across the front of the chassis, helping builders create clean interiors with uninterrupted airflow.

The external theme celebrates the VCT CN 2026 competitive circuit. Custom tournament emblems sit directly on each fan hub. Around back, the card features a magnetic quick release backplate decorated with pixel style firearm artwork formed from agent class symbols. Sapphire previously produced a collector edition card for the official AMD VCT CN gear set that featured bright red fan blades. This new production model reverts to the standard metallic finish on the front face while preserving the tournament art on the back.

The card targets desktop gamers who want specialized esports hardware capable of driving high frame rate 1440p and 4K competitive play. Sapphire has not yet announced international pricing or retail rollout schedules. PC builders looking to install the card will need a motherboard supporting hidden power connections to take full advantage of the PhantomLink layout.
