Thunderobot has revealed the Hunter Blade 60, a high performance gamepad built for ultra low latency gaming. The controller features an 8 kHz polling rate across both wired and 2.4 GHz wireless connections, alongside adjustable TMR thumbsticks and optical switches. Preorders for the new pad are scheduled to go live later this month.

The gamepad adopts an Xbox layout and focuses heavily on raw speed. Its 8 kHz polling rate means the device transmits stick positions and button presses to your system 8000 times per second. In wired mode, total response latency drops to just 0.2 ms. This responsiveness puts it among the fastest controllers on the market for competitive players who require instant feedback.

Internal hardware includes thumbsticks driven by TMR sensor technology. This setup lets users physically adjust stick resistance while tracking movements with 12 bit resolution across 4096 distinct input levels. For the triggers, players can toggle between smooth Hall Effect analog sensors and rapid mechanical microswitches depending on whether they are playing racing titles or first person shooters. The main face buttons also rely on optical microswitches to eliminate debounce delay entirely.

Control customization extends across the chassis with 6 programmable macro buttons. Gamers can assign complex button combinations directly on the device without dealing with external software layers. Thunderobot plans to open initial orders within the next few days, aiming directly at players who want pro grade input speeds without sacrificing stick longevity.
