ZTE U30 Standard Edition Mobile Router Brings 9 Antennas and Wi Fi 6

ZTE has launched the U30 Standard Edition, a compact mobile router packing 9 omnidirectional antennas to boost portable signal reception. The pocket sized device provides dual band Wi Fi 6 connectivity for up to 16 devices simultaneously alongside a 5000 mAh battery rated for 12 hours of use. The router is now available in China for roughly $70.

Staying connected on the road requires dependable power. ZTE fitted the U30 Standard Edition with a 5000 mAh battery that delivers up to 12 hours of continuous operation under typical conditions. When power runs low, the unit supports 18W wired charging to get back up and running quickly.

The standout engineering choice here is the internal antenna layout. ZTE built 9 omnidirectional antennas inside the shell to pull in weaker cellular signals without requiring external attachments. It broadcasts dual band Wi Fi 6 on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, using 2x2 MIMO technology to keep data flow steady across multiple connections.

Pairing hardware with the router is simplified through an integrated NFC chip. Tapping a compatible phone against the chassis connects it immediately without typing long passwords. Up to 16 devices can connect at the same time, with full traffic control and client lists managed through the ZTE Smart Life app.

The chassis measures 149 by 69.8 by 12.5 millimeters and weighs around 171 grams, making it roughly the size of a standard smartphone. Buyers can pick between silver and green color options, with retail pricing set at 489 yuan in China.
