Feiniu has launched the EVO 4 Arm edition, a 4 bay network attached storage device powered by the Rockchip RK3588 processor. The unit features dual 2.5G ethernet ports, an integrated 6 TOPS artificial intelligence processing unit, and support for up to 144TB of storage. The diskless model starts at 1999 yuan, which converts to approximately $280 USD.
Under the hood, the system runs on the 8 nanometer Rockchip RK3588 processor. This 8 core chip combines 4 Cortex A76 performance cores running at 2.4GHz with 4 Cortex A55 efficiency cores at 1.8GHz. Graphics tasks run on an ARM Mali G610 MC4 chip. The built in NPU delivers 6 TOPS of compute power across standard precision formats like INT4, INT8, INT16, and FP16. Feiniu equips the hardware with 8GB of DDR5 memory and 64GB of eMMC storage for the core operating system.
Physical storage options include 4 SATA drive bays and 2 M.2 slots for high speed caching or solid state storage pools. The device can handle a maximum total capacity of 144TB. Buyers can purchase the enclosure empty or choose drive bundles with preinstalled hard drives from Toshiba or Seagate in sizes ranging from 4TB up to 64TB. Network connections use 2 independent 2.5G ethernet jacks, backed by Wi Fi 6 and Bluetooth wireless connectivity.
Feiniu built several custom software tools into this release. The operating system features Dolby frame by frame color tuning designed to improve home theater playback quality. The company is also rolling out an independent photo gallery application that uses an offline 1 billion parameter language model to improve search accuracy without sending private pictures to remote servers. On the system side, the software includes native support for HarmonyOS clients and direct photo synchronization with OPPO mobile devices.
Every purchase includes lifetime free remote access that switches between peer to peer connections and public routing automatically. Feiniu also bundles 5 years of accelerated network transfer bandwidth, a service valued at 495 yuan, which equals about $68 USD. Dedicated technical support channels are included with early orders to assist users during initial network configuration.
