HP has launched the OMEN 11 Ice White desktop in China, targeting gamers and artificial intelligence workstations with an Intel Core Ultra 5 225F processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card. The 16 liter tower supports massive memory upgrades up to 192GB and features a redesigned dual fan cooling system. It is currently listed on JD.com at an initial price of 7999 yuan, which is around 1110 USD, with national energy subsidies bringing the entry cost down to 6799.15 yuan or about 945 USD.
The processing core uses the Intel Core Ultra 5 225F chip with 10 cores and 10 threads, capable of boosting up to 4.9GHz. Graphics workloads run on a dedicated 8GB Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 card. The base configuration arrives with 16GB of DDR5 5600 memory and a 512GB PCIe 4.0 solid state drive. Users planning to run local artificial intelligence models can expand the system memory up to 192GB across the motherboard slots, providing plenty of headroom for heavy data sets.
The physical chassis takes up 16 liters of desk space and comes in a clean Ice White finish. A transparent front window reveals the internal cooling fan and customizable RGB lighting zones. HP integrated its OMEN AI tuning software to let users switch lighting profiles and adjust operating modes on the fly.
Thermal management relies on a low resistance airflow setup with a 120mm intake fan in the front and a 90mm exhaust fan at the back. Dual copper heat pipes draw heat directly off the CPU block. According to technical testing shared by ITHome, this upgraded cooling structure drops processor temperatures by 10 degrees Celsius while reducing fan noise by 5 decibels compared to the previous generation.
Power comes from a 400W internal supply carrying an 80 PLUS Platinum efficiency rating. Network connectivity includes a 2.5Gbps ethernet port alongside wireless support for WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
The front panel provides rapid access to 2 USB Type A ports running at 5Gbps, 2 USB Type A ports at 10Gbps, 1 USB Type C port at 5Gbps, 1 USB Type C port at 10Gbps, and a 3.5mm combo audio jack. This wide selection keeps high speed flash drives and headsets within easy reach on top of your desk.
