Huawei has expanded its flagship wearable lineup with a new Snow White edition of the Watch Ultimate 2. The device adds dedicated ski mountaineering tracking alongside a special Descente edition featuring custom winter dials. Both versions are available in China priced at 6,999 yuan (approx. $1,043 USD).
The updated hardware debuts a specialized ski mountaineering mode built for high altitude winter sports. Users can import wilderness routes directly to the watch before heading onto the trail. It also tracks blood oxygen levels in real time to help athletes monitor physical condition at high elevations. For remote adventures beyond cellular coverage, the watch includes Beidou satellite messaging to send emergency communications.
Huawei teamed up with sportswear brand Descente to offer a second design alongside the standard white model. This variant costs 6999 yuan as well, but it adds 2 exclusive winter styled watch dials made to match alpine athletic gear. The physical case keeps the same premium build found across the broader product line.
Software is also getting a lift. The entire Watch Ultimate 2 series is now eligible for the HarmonyOS 7 public beta. This upgrade delivers smoother performance across the interface and tighter connectivity with other devices in the ecosystem.
