HUMAIN Unveil Horizon Series Laptops with Snapdragon X2 Elite Silicon

Saudi AI company HUMAIN partnered with Qualcomm at the LEAP 2026 conference to unveil the Horizon and Horizon Ultra laptops. These thin and light Windows on Arm machines run on the Snapdragon X2 Elite platform with an NPU delivering 80 TOPS of local compute. While both models ship with Windows 11 Pro today, the company confirmed that next years generation will replace Microsoft software with its own custom operating system.

Both models share a common physical foundation built for daily travel. The chassis measures 16.6 millimeters in thickness and weighs 1.288 kilograms. Up front, you get a 14 inch OLED touch screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio, powered by an internal 70Whr battery. The input setup consists of a white backlit bilingual keyboard and a pressure sensitive touchpad. Connectivity includes Wi Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, backed by 3 USB4 ports and an integrated 9.2MP IP camera for clear video calls. Both machines pack 32GB of LPDDR5X memory as standard.

The performance split between the 2 machines comes down to processing cores, storage, and screen resolution. The standard Horizon uses a 12 core Snapdragon X2 Elite X2E 80 100 processor, a 512GB solid state drive, and a 1920x1200 resolution display. The higher tier Horizon Ultra steps up to an 18 core Snapdragon X2 Elite X2E 88 100 chip, 1TB of storage, and a sharper 2880x1800 OLED panel.

Looking beyond the initial hardware release, the PIF backed firm has ambitious software plans. The 2027 generation of Horizon notebooks will move away from Windows to run HUMAIN OS, creating a unified proprietary software stack.

Achieve deeper integration across devices, AI capabilities, and the broader HUMAIN technology platform.

This software pivot will attempt to connect future laptop hardware directly to the larger cloud and AI ecosystem that HUMAIN is building across the region.
