Lenovo has launched the Lecoo Fighter AI NAS 900 series, a compact private cloud server designed for local data storage and artificial intelligence workloads. Running Feiniu fnOS with official support for Windows drivers, the system features up to 64GB of memory and 4 PCIe 4.0 storage slots. Pricing in China starts at 6999 yuan, which converts to roughly 980 USD.
The hardware is split across 2 performance tiers. The baseline AI NAS 900 model runs on an Intel Ultra 7 355 processor paired with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB solid state drive for 6999 yuan, or about 980 USD. For demanding workloads, the higher tier AI NAS 900 Pro features an Intel Ultra X9 388H chip with 64GB of onboard memory and a 512GB drive, carrying a retail price of 17999 yuan, or roughly 2520 USD. Both versions use soldered high frequency LPDDR5 or LPDDR5x memory to maximize processing speed.
Internal storage expansion relies on 4 independent M.2 PCIe 4.0 drive slots. The system provides native compatibility with RAID 0, RAID 1, and RAID 5 arrays. For users who prefer the ZFS file system, the software also supports RAID Z1 and RAID Z2 data arrangements. This flexibility allows home lab enthusiasts and small businesses to construct custom storage pools with strong data redundancy.
Wired connectivity centers around dual 2.5G RJ45 ethernet jacks that support link aggregation. Binding the 2 ports together delivers total network bandwidth of up to 5Gbps.
