Lenovo has launched the LOQ 15, a new budget gaming laptop designated internationally as part of the LOQ Essential lineup. The machine packs an Intel Core 5 205H processor, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card, and a 165Hz 15.3 inch display. It is currently available in China starting at 7799 yuan, which converts to roughly $1080 USD, with regional subsidies dropping the checkout cost to 6629.15 yuan, or about $915 USD.
Inside the chassis, the system runs on the Intel Core 5 205H processor alongside an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 laptop GPU with 4GB of GDDR6 memory. The base configuration includes 16GB of RAM and 512GB of solid state storage. Users can upgrade both the memory and storage later through internal expansion slots. Wireless connectivity relies on a Wi Fi 6 card for stable network speeds during gaming sessions.
The screen measures 15.3 inches with a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels. It offers a fast 165Hz refresh rate and covers 100% of the sRGB color space, making it useful for competitive gaming and everyday media editing. For typing and navigation, Lenovo installed its TrueStrike 2.0 keyboard along with an integrated precision trackpad measuring 120 by 75 millimeters.
Physical ports are spread across 3 sides of the housing for better cable routing. The left edge holds 1 USB A port, 1 USB C port with Power Delivery support, and a 3.5 millimeter audio jack. The rear section includes an HDMI port, a 1GbE RJ 45 ethernet connector, and a 10Gbps USB A port. The right side adds 1 extra USB A port for mouse or keyboard accessories.
The standard list price is 7799 yuan, which translates to about $1080 USD. Buyers qualifying for local purchase subsidies can pick it up for 6629.15 yuan, bringing the effective entry price down to approximately $915 USD.
