TECNO has revealed the complete hardware specifications for the CAMON Slim 5G following its showcase at IFA. The device packs a 6000 mAh battery into an ultra thin 6.39 millimeter body alongside 4 separate water resistance ratings. However the manufacturer has not yet shared pricing or an official retail launch date.
Building a phone this thin usually means cutting battery capacity. TECNO avoided that compromise entirely. The chassis measures only 6.39 millimeters thick while holding a massive 6000 mAh cell that supports 45W fast charging. It also earns certifications for IP66 IP68 IP69 and IP69K ratings. This offers protection against high pressure water jets dust and complete submersion.
Up front the phone features a 6.78 inch AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel advertises a 1.5K resolution of 1208x2644 pixels. To keep power consumption low the graphics processor renders images at 1080x2364 pixels before a dedicated T1 display chip scales the image upward. Because of this internal scaling step some third party applications may detect the screen as standard 1080p.
The device runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 7300e processor. Storage options include 128GB or 256GB matched with 8GB of system RAM. If you need extra headroom for heavy apps the software allows you to allocate up to 16GB of storage space as virtual memory.
