UGREEN has launched its first Thunderbolt 5 external graphics dock in China. The aluminum enclosure features dual high speed connections through Thunderbolt 5 and OCuLink alongside an internal 850W power supply. It is available now for 3489 yuan, which converts to roughly $485 USD.
The dock uses a modern connection layout to avoid graphical bottlenecks. Its Thunderbolt 5 port delivers transfer speeds up to 80Gbps with a direct graphics bandwidth of 64Gbps. It remains backwards compatible with USB4 as well as Thunderbolt 4 and Thunderbolt 3 standards. Users can also plug in through a dedicated OCuLink port for direct PCIe data transfer.
For cable management and accessories, the back houses 3 Thunderbolt 5 ports that support daisy chaining additional monitors or storage drives. The dock also supports the PD 3.1 protocol, providing up to 140W of rapid charging directly to a connected laptop. This eliminates the need for a separate laptop charging brick on your desk.
Power delivery is handled by an internal 850W Gold certified power supply built to the ATX 3.1 standard. It includes a native 12V 2x6 power connector, making it ready to drive power hungry Nvidia RTX 40 and RTX 50 series desktop cards. The chassis accepts standard desktop graphics cards from Nvidia, AMD, and Intel up to 370 millimeters in length.
Beyond standard gaming setups, the dock pairs with UGREEN NAS hardware to accelerate video transcoding and provide dedicated compute power for local Docker containers. The full aluminum chassis provides passive heat dissipation and operates smoothly across both Windows and Linux operating systems.
