An unreleased vivo flagship carrying model number V2610DA has surfaced on the Geekbench database. According to leak details shared by industry insider Ice Universe, the smartphone runs on the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro silicon. The test scores reveal high computing power ahead of the official launch of the X500 series this September.
The latest benchmarking data shows single core results reaching 4137 and multi core performance climbing to 13086. These numbers show a clear jump over earlier test builds. MediaTek built the chip on an ultra dense 2nm process, designed in close partnership with the vivo Blue Crystal hardware team.
Vivo product manager Han Boxiao previously confirmed that the upcoming generation will be the first in the world to feature this new 2nm architecture. Tipster Digital Chat Station pointed out that the top tier vivo X500 Pro Max will be the specific variant using the Dimensity 9600 Pro. The complete lineup will consist of 3 distinct phones, including the standard X500, the X500 Pro, and the X500 Pro Max.
With the entire X500 family scheduled for an official debut later this month, vivo is preparing to challenge rival Android flagships directly. The high Geekbench numbers indicate that MediaTek has closed the performance gap at the very top of the mobile market.
