Xiaomi has increased retail prices across several laptop models in China, affecting both the REDMI Book Pro and Xiaomi Book Pro lineups. Shoppers are seeing sudden price jumps ranging between 400 and 700 Yuan, which equals roughly 55 to 97 US dollars. The overnight adjustments hit older stock as well as current generation releases.
According to retail tracking by IT Home, the price hikes cover multiple product tiers in the domestic Chinese market. The increases apply to the REDMI Book Pro 14 and 16 editions, standard REDMI Book models, and the premium Xiaomi Book Pro 14. Customers browsing official storefronts will find higher price tags on both 2025 and 2026 hardware configurations.
The exact price bump depends on the machine. The REDMI Book Pro 14 from the 2025 generation jumped from 6799 Yuan, or about 945 US dollars, to a new price of 7299 Yuan, which sits around 1015 US dollars. The REDMI Book Pro 16 from 2025 received an even steeper increase of 700 Yuan. Its listing climbed from 4699 Yuan, or roughly 653 US dollars, up to 5399 Yuan, which is approximately 750 US dollars.
Newer models in the catalog are seeing similar shifts. The REDMI Book Pro 16 from the 2026 generation climbed from 7399 Yuan, or roughly 1028 US dollars, to 7899 Yuan, which equals about 1098 US dollars. For the smaller REDMI Book Pro 14 from 2026, the price shifted from 7199 Yuan, or about 1000 US dollars, up to 7699 Yuan, which is around 1070 US dollars. Xiaomi has not offered an official statement explaining the sudden retail price increases across its domestic computer division.
