Baseus has launched the MC2 NC, a pair of open ear clip wireless earbuds that combine active noise cancellation with integrated artificial intelligence features. The hardware uses 12 millimeter dynamic drivers and incorporates AI models from DeepSeek and Alibaba to deliver live speech translation in 21 languages. The earbuds are now available in China for $115.
Sound reproduction relies on 12 millimeter dynamic drivers certified for Hi Res Audio Wireless and supported by the LDAC codec. To customize the sound profile to individual hearing capabilities, Baseus includes Mimi equalizer technology. Directional acoustics channel audio straight into the ear to prevent sound leakage into public spaces. The adaptive active noise cancellation system works in tandem with the physical ear tips to suppress ambient noise up to 50 dB. For voice calls, a 6 microphone array isolates speech and filters out wind interference.
Each earbud weighs 5.9 grams and attaches to the outer ear via a flexible C shaped bridge that leaves the ear canal open. The retail box includes washable silicone cushion attachments in 4 sizes to fit different ear shapes. Baseus opted for physical buttons on the exterior instead of capacitive touch sensors. This layout prevents accidental playback triggers when adjusting the clip positions on the ear.
Software capabilities rely on integrated AI models from DeepSeek, Doubao, and Alibaba Qwen inside the companion mobile app. These algorithms power real time two way translation across 21 languages during in person conversations, along with automated audio to text transcriptions and an assistant mode. Wireless connections run on Bluetooth 6.0 with multipoint pairing for 2 devices simultaneously. Total battery life reaches 60 hours using the charging case with noise canceling turned off, or 42 hours with active noise suppression enabled. A quick 10 minute charge via USB Type C restores 3 hours of continuous playback.
