Colorful has launched a new DDR5 memory kit in its iGame Shadow II lineup featuring domestic Chinese DRAM chips. The 32GB dual channel package runs at 6000MT/s with tighter CL30 timings on a 10 layer reinforced circuit board. The new kit sells in China for 3999 yuan (approximately $555 USD), marking an upgrade over the previous CL36 release priced at 3499 yuan (around $486 USD).
Colorful tuned the kit to 6000MT/s with primary timings set to CL30 38 38 at an operating voltage of 1.4V. The module uses a 10 layer reinforced PCB to reduce electrical interference and maintain signal stability during aggressive workloads. Both Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO one click overclocking standards are supported straight out of the box. The internal architecture features On Die ECC hardware to detect and fix data errors in real time without sending correction workloads to the central processor.
The exterior heatsink uses traditional Chinese ink wash artwork featuring the calligraphy character for Shadow. Thermal dissipation relies on full size 1.8 millimeter metal armor paired with high performance thermal pads and a dedicated thermal interface pad for the onboard power management circuitry. Clear acrylic sections allow light dispersion from the integrated RGB top bar. The lighting syncs with motherboards from ASUS, MSI, and Gigabyte, and users can adjust lighting profiles using the iGame Center desktop application.
